Mountain Biking
The long valley around the city offers numerous paths for any mountain biking fan. Some of the most famous are the “Petits Balcons” going across the valley from north to south and “Le Tour Charmonis”, the ladder being the longest. These vary between 7 km and 30 km. Also, since the cable cabin service works in the summer, you can use it to climb the valley, especially if you enjoy the down-hill thrill.

For the more peaceful of travelers, horseback riding and golf are two ways to take advantage of Charmonix’s landscape. Explore the environment in any way you prefer, either by swinging your club around at the “Golf De Chamonix” resort or riding on horse back across the mountain paths.
